A great company and culture lost due to poor ownership
|

This company used to have an amazing culture do to it's employees, perks, and flexibility. It was also a results oriented place where top producers were valued and rewarded.
|
The ownership killed the culture. Health benefit perks and compensation perks with changed or all together eliminated without notice. Spending for clients, team building events, and team celebrations of success was cut drastically. The owner stopped following through on promises. He started having employees watched for clock in and clock out time (this included everyone, even top producers). Employees were involved in internal interviews, but their opinion didn't matter. The owner consistently sets unrealistic goals, and creates budgets and plans based on the production of future head count that hasn't been found or hired yet. These are just a few of the reasons that they cannot keep top producers. Finally, the owner doesn't lead, hire, run the business based on their core values.

I have worked with them off and on for nearly 20 years. Some staff changes overtime but the quality does not. I found them to be very professional and knowledgeable about the market, and were very realistic about my opportunities and expectations. I met a couple different recruiters and account managers, which gave me the best chance to interview with several companies. They were very timely / responsive and their process was very thorough. I found a position on my own but I don’t hesitate to reach out to them whenever I find myself on the market or looking for project managers and engineers to help implement my company’s product. Also sent others to them with success.

If I had to list one, I’d say that the senior recruiters and account managers were much more educated and helpful, whereas the few early career representatives I spoke with didn’t provide nearly as much value.
