Location is good Generally good people who work here. The office is cozy. Speaking only about my experience... There were many directions all at once regarding projects this resulted in putting in 100s of hours of work just to have the project and at your work abandoned at the last minute. But still expected to magically to produce results in a very short time. A feeling of spinning your tires and stressed out. Very poor communication with my direct manager who lived in another city and would be a no-show for days at a time for meetings and wouldn't return emails...I felt he was having a personal problem that affected his ability to carry out his duties to a professional ability. Most interactions with him felt negative and on eggshells. So him not working in the same office was positive for me. It's a very small company. So, you can work on big and interesting projects but most of the time you going to face small projects with tiny deadlines. They treat you as part of "RKO's family" but do not be fooled. If you are not part of "the golden boy's group,” in the end, it comes down to money. The software delivery process is a mess. Basically, there is no process! No QA department, no Scrum meetings, and outdated project management. The Required Documents are very superficial and poor. Don’t expect use cases, test cases, data flow, SRS, BRD, etc...pretty much everything is on the fly! Get ready to be always overloaded, extra hours is mandatory, lost your weekends without a decent rewarded. This is not a normal B2B sales environment those in business development require the ability to advance their skills into Complex Sales also known as an Enterprise Sales. You do not sell a product rather a solution so the ability to zoom out to the big picture and see business problems and how solutions fit in is required. Less structured environment requires strong organizational, self-learning and time management skills.
