Both brothers (owners) are irrational, abusive and sketchy people, they hire foreign employees as interns, even if they have 5 years + of experience, promising Work Visa and Residence paperwork. Everything is a lie, i have seen them hiring people that leave everything and firing them 2 weeks later without payment, they don't care about the product, owner only says "i don't care how you do it, i just want this", he just think to add stuff to the projects without taking in consideration how the time, requirements , how unnecessary it is and what it can broke in the short term they want you to finish it.
After some time working with them the main owner yell at us that there is not money and that if we don't hit certain deadlines we are out of money and without a job, using this as a way to push hard into the employees to work overtime and over the weekend, when the deadline is reached, everything was a lie, he says an excuse that the investors didn't like something and didn't invest. Worst thing is that they threat every employee with the lowest respect, appreciation and maturity, they humiliate without reasons, just to get something that happened to them out on us, like a way to relief himself.
Besides that, after every promise they do and break, the salary is really low, they don't use any legal way to pay their employees, they always find a way to pay without paying taxes to the interns like ( creating a credit card and ad funds to it, wire transfer to the origin country and cash) and they promise the job with the visa dream, a better salary just a few months after joining the company, but even that they raised like 3m in this year 2017, they don't do any changes to any employee salary, they are really really greedy people.
Just to end this, please don't work for/with them, everything that comes out of their mouths are lies, humiliation and the phrase "we need money guys", " money", "money", the main owner even said "i love you guys like a family" and 20 min after "you guys are nothing, if you can't do it then you are incompetent, i will find someone that can do it " in reference to a change he want's that is impossible to do in 2 or 3 days with a small team, but he is counting on you to work until 11 pm or 12 midnight and on the weekends 12 hours.
I hope the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) starts an investigation on them and finish the modern Human trafficking system they have.

I can't really think of one besides the Sarasota area.
|
Where to start,
- Owner is a crook who uses borderline illegal practices with his employees. He takes advantage of employees who come from out of the country by promising to get them a visa and holding that over their heads even paying them absolutely nothing for it. They are verbally abusive to their employees treating them like children and treating them like they are absolutely replaceable.
- The owners don't even pay through the government, they consider everyone an intern despite skill and work experience and pays them hourly with personal checks they oftentimes print out right there.
The owner even justifies it by saying "its better because its not taxed by the government" and then starts suggesting to list items to deduct from taxes. This makes me and other employees I've talked to feel uncomfortable.
- Theres no way to rise up in this company. They will make you do so many different tasks with nothing in the way of increased pay or promotion.
- This place is run by a amateurs who claim to run a tech company. Theres no plan, no deadlines, no milestones and no cohesive work flow. The owner just constantly rushes up to his employees demanding them to add new features he came up with without necessarily thinking it out.
He wants to look like he is incredibly knowledgeable about everything to others in and outside of the office but in reality he has no clue about anything he's talking about.
- They constantly fire people all the time or people don't stay long once they realize they are being taken advantage of. I've seen so many new waves of employees come in to replace the old ones. No one is happy working there and because of the abusive employers, they don't respect them or want to work to make a good app.
- They're also very combative, you criticize them or express an opposing viewpoint and they will hunt you down with their lawyer's numbers ready. Going so far as to hunt down the IP numbers of users in the app posting images they don't like.

stop taking advantage of immigrants, stop abusing your employees, get a plan, and you hire your employees for a reason.
leave the design process to people who are capable, your outdated experience and practices don't grant you the right to step on the toes and undermine your employee's work. Let them do their job and be a leader instead of a dictator.
If you want your employees to respect you and actually want to work well for you please heed my advice. Also stop treating them like they are expendable. Who wants to work for someone who treats you like that.
