Nothing good about this place - quote from your senior estimator when I worked for you.
|
Hostile work environment with aggressive democrats in control.
They lied to my face but conduct business everyday using the three R's.
They rip off their clients by hiding cost where it shouldn't be.
Senior management not available or door shut so you can't ask questions when they come up.
Senior management has trust issues.
The water filter looks like it's growing mold and they wonder why everyone is sick around the office.
The roof leaks and the windows whistle when the wind blows.
This place is falling apart and they built it so you know what kind of projects they build.
Bring your own space heater / air conditioner because it's either real cold or real hot in this office. Fix the furnace.
Family rules the roost and everyone is related in some kind of jacked up family wreath.
Very wasteful company.
Very high turnover for a company of this size.

Good pay and benefits, although benefits seem to decrease each year. Run down office. Numerous employees staying 20+ years, but also has high turnover rate.

If you aren't a Roche family member, don't expect to rise above mid-management. Women are considered inferior and ignorant and value-less with regard to business decisions. Extremely toxic work environment.

They gave me a lot of responsibility from the start and respected my opinion in meetings. I felt like I knew everyone at the company and the upper management was very open towards me.
|
The job of anyone who works for this company is to pad the wallets of the upper management. The senior management basically grew up together in colorado and they protect themselves first then the lower employees. The job I was on made about $1 million, and at the end I was laid off, my salary was around $50000/yr.

How about hiring more competent management. If you plan to open an office somewhere, commit and open the office, send in some marketing personnel and estimators. Do not expect your project teams to be able to do everything for you. They are there to run a job.
