- The people are pretty great. Everyone I've worked with has been nice, helpful, smart.
- Leadership seems pretty transparent and straight-forward. I joined right after Rocket was acquired by Dept and everything has been good so far, no big surprises/changes, no major shifts in atmosphere/culture/feel, no exodus of employees or leadership.
- The location is good. Finding engaging engineering work north of Boston can be tricky.
- Work-life balance is good. Engineers work on one project at a time and bill time and materials. I have not had to work crazy of hours or meet unreasonable deadlines
- Flexibility: work from home and unlimited vacation is definitely nice
- Comp: Salary, health insurance, 401k match are pretty good

- The projects I've worked on, have been mostly staff-aug. I'd like to work on more greenfield or rocket-run projects.

- A ton of great people that work there and are very willing to help you out whenever they have time.
- You are treated like an adult and don't have managers breathing down your neck all the time. This also motivates you to do your best and further earn that trust you are given.
- You can work whenever and wherever you want. At the end of the day, it's the product you push out that matters most and not simply how long you're doing work for.

- Work from home gets lonely sometimes, especially without pets :( Easily fixed by just going in to the office though :)
