Working directly with really exciting startups in a wonderful, family feeling environment.
There is a real openness that I haven't experienced before. Everybody is valued as a person and is given their spot to shine. With no strong hierarchy at all (only for some crucial decision making, which makes sense) anyone can really make a true impact in whatever role they are in.
Personally in the almost 3,5 years that I've been here I've learned and grown more than literally my entire life combined before. Partly I was given really exciting challenges but most of the growth I've accomplished on my own. Just always looking out for things to pick up, learn, be better at. Never being shy to give my opinion. I think this is the drive that people need, never looking towards the other person for permission to accelerate, but just go for it.

With the level of autonomy and the speed at which we work, some people can feel lost and not supported. However, I think the right person will thrive in such an environment. Maybe to identify that right kind of person is still something that can be improved.

We're all learning together. Of course the founders in the end carry a lot more responsibility. So I would advise them to realise that we're all in their corner and it's ok if they make a mistake sometimes. Admitting it will create even stronger bonds.
