Seemed to have lots of connections with policy movers and shakers. Funding didn't seem like a concern. Open office, with people from different departments sitting side by side, but scarce communication about shared goals, projects, overall initiatives, future plans. LOTS of time between some poorly defined, disorganized projects, so twiddling thumbs between deadlines, but got hand slapped trying to take initiative and find helpful things to do. People get promoted to positions of power reallllly quickly because it's such a young org, so some questionable behavior (talking about breast size out loud) and decisions.....I think my manager copied her own performance review and used it to fill in mine? -1.0 NEGATIVE 1.0 APPROVE 2.0 2.0 3.0 5.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 303328 Open Mid-level managers need much more direct oversight, guidance, and training.
