I am 0/3 on slots when they would brag about how much they’ve been preparing for the drop. They have since toned it down since the Smoke Gray 1’s because of how very little success they found after tweeting how much of “a treat” everyone was in for. They justify the more difficult releases by saying that they cannot hit on every drop, but isn’t that the premium you pay for considering the prices are so high? After some time, they wanted to give back to their customers and offered a discounted price for any drop during the month of October 2020. I went to check out a slot and found out that it was $5 off the total cost when I even bricks were being charged $60 fees. That was the deal breaker and was an obvious attempt to retain customers for the minimum price when they can’t deliver. You’re likely spending $300+ for sneakers+slots and $5 off is less than 2% of a discount. For reference to their prices, the Yeezy QNTM Bariums were $120 for a slot on top of the $250+tax retail. Now, you can find those sneakers for retail on resell apps. Even though these fees are refunded if you do not get any checkouts, they promote that you can sleep in on release days because they’ll do all of the work for you. If you want multiples of sneakers that will likely end up under retail at the outlets for a $60 fee+retail, then this is the group for you. If you want a decently hyped sneaker, you’re better off trying manually on your own. I bought slots for the Smoke Gray 1’s and they were not successful but “ran restocks.” I caught a restock manually on FootLocker a few hours after release. “No one is forcing you to buy our slots” is their go-to when they don’t hit decent drops worth paying the fee for. RSVP KINGZ calculates the resale amount and the generally charge what you gain to earn from resell. So you CAN get the shoes or your money back but you might as well go to stockx because what you end up paying will be around the same.
