Salary was decent, the younger financial staff is friendly. The hours are somewhat flexible. Benefits are good. The CFO is very nice also.
|
Everything else, the CEO, Ken Sawyer is a very challenging personality. I was his assistant and he was so rude, I was never trained and did not feel comfortable enough to ask questions.

The entire team at Saints Capital is very diligent. You will do well if you come with a similar work ethic. It was a joy working with David, Ghia and Bob. They were my direct superiors and I could not have asked for better mentors.

As with any investment firm, things are deadline driven so things may get hectic at times. Nonetheless, with proper time management, this pitfall can be overcome.

Treated like an admin. Was told to file old deal boxes all night my whole first week on the job. Didn't get a bonus because refused to work all nighters on meaningless projects.

Great exposure to the Secondary and Growth Equity space; however, the fund probably can't raise additional capital going forward, so these pro's are no longer valid. Today, a prospective employee would most likely gain experience in recapitalization's and tracking portfolio company performance, which gets old very quickly.
Company used to have great VP's and Directors, but all of those individuals have left the firm.

Terrible people to work for in general. Will be underpaid, undermined, and overall disrespected by the partners. The partners will create fake projects if they feel you are not working late enough each day.
