Great company with the right mindset

What I like the most is a possibility to experiment with ideas. Additionally, people at Northpass do their best to think Agile (as a company). We evaluate what we do on daily basis and it happened a few times that we changed the direction based on feedback/observations. Keep it up!
I appreciate that I can share my thoughts, or make a mistake and it is welcomed as soon as there is a lesson learned.
I enjoy all the online events to keep people integrated across offices/homes, especially during the COVID. Also, the support (technical and mental) when it comes to working from home. Especially when someone has a family. Family comes first. I like that.

Northpass seems to be an advocate of transparent communication and feedback culture. People are trying different ways to learn how to give feedback (thanks for that!) and yet, I do not see many people doing it on a daily basis. I wish to see it more.

Good benefits and pay, but NOT worth it.
|
Worked for Northpass for 7 months and while it started positively, it quickly took a very sharp turn for the worst after the company received venture capitalist funding. This caused extreme volatility and no one at the company felt safe because the CEO is trying to make material changes to roles, responsibilities, and procedures on seemingly a day to day basis. Management will befriend you and make you feel welcome only to completely blindside you in the end.
Lastly, there have been SEVERAL key employees in management to leave over the last couple of months, showing the toxic work environment that is created here. Everyone is replaceable and that mindset permeates throughout the entire organization.
