I had my own office with a door, we went to happy hours after work, and we had almost 2 weeks off at Christmas. That is where it ended. For me, that stuff was nice, but not necessary. My boss was a micro-manager. She would go through my Salesforce and our newest program, Tellwise, and pick them apart. She did not take the time to crossreference them. The notes from Tellwise calls would automatically populate in the Salesforce CRM. She would interrupt our day to say we were doing it wrong. We would then have to tell her why it was not wrong. The hardest part of the job was wasting time defending ourselves for something that was not wrong. The most enjoyable part of the job was the teambuilding environment quarterly, including the Christmas party. Happy hours, team building. The owner of the company expects more from his employees than humanly possible. He is extremely unrealistic about his employees. Employees are treated like dirt. There is no respect given to anyone by the owner/president. Most employees either quit or get fired within their first 2 months. Never have I worked for a company as toxic as Securance Consulting. Do yourself a favor and don’t even consider working here. To be honest, I am surprised they are still in business. Because of the excessive employee turnover, sales are seriously suffering. Do yourself a favor and don’t even consider working here, It will be the worst decision you ever made! Absolutely Nothing! The sales manager is a very energetic, congenial person to work with who is always looking to obtain the tools needed to enable the sales team's success. It is a competitive landscape and will take a few months to build up your pipeline, but if you are consistent and systematic in your approach, you will see the commissions come. For the role itself, (Inside Sales), the salary is in on par with what you would expect for this position. Full benefits are offered, and a new plan is being implemented that will make for more affordable premiums. Incentives are also in place and goals are clearly defined, so there is no question in terms of expectations. Option to work from home twice a week after three month grace period, so long as you have the means to connect remotely to the VPN. Because of the excessive employee turnover, sales are seriously suffering. To sum it up, do yourself a favor and don’t even consider working here. It will be the worst decision you ever made!
