Not only are you going to work with some of the brightest people around, but the level of dedication and passion in the company is infectious. Most employees work more hours than required simply due to a love of the job. I do not know a single person who hasn't formed friendships that extend outside of work. Seegrid has the same 'cons' as all small to medium sized businesses, organization could be improved and the 'squeaky wheel gets the grease'. We haven't been beset by the politics and infighting you often see, and are really all pulling for the same goal. Everyone's willing to pitch in whenever needed, and while there are always growing pains, we've always worked through them together. Not to make it sound like a cult... but in general engineers arrive, and very rarely leave. :-) We empower teams to drive their own work and processes, iteratively improving both the product and how we work, and build great relationships within and across teams. Growth does bring with it some challenges.
