I would have given it 5 stars had I worked for anyone other than the supervisor I was assigned to. She was quite mean and childish but she was honestly the only employee there like that. If I remember correctly, she got the job through a friend or in-law or something. Other than that, Sentry management seemed to genuinely care about staff. They made an effort to provide a great work life balance. As far as claims go, Sentry, for me, was a very professional company and definitely one of the best for employee satisfaction. Pay, Management, work-life balance None really. I had a horrible supervisor. It is impossible to keep up with the many reports, which are used to keep track of your performance. The benefits are okay. Sentry tries to be a fun place. Each had his own vision and thumbprint. Decisions were made in a vacuum. Employee input was unwelcome, discouraged, and perceived as threatening unless it was, “Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Three bags full.” Employee morale was rock bottom due to the constant upheaval, stress, and fear. Some supervisors were extremely helpful and would work with you incase something happened. Also the company will try and throw you under the bus if you have a medical emergency that was their fault to begin with. Good food and some managers were great to work with.
