Where do you begin. Dysfunction and chaos is the name of the game. Continual changes and different direction given. No one can gain any traction to move forward successfully. Top execs constantly yelling at employees and cursing. They make a very hostile environment to work in.
Everyone is looking for another job. Not too many reasons to stay.
They fire people all of the time for no reasons. Everyone walks on eggshells.
People don’t turn up for work and the favorites are covered...
Lots of favoritism going on.
Very dysfunctional and no one listens or cares. They would rather fire you..

Sentry has an amazing culture that is very hard to achieve when almost all of the workforce is remote. The people are intelligent, hard working, and almost always willing to lend a helping hand. Benefits are solid, in alignment with most work places. PMs are able to work autonomously, no micromanagement whatsoever. You are able to make your own schedule, and fit in your family as well. Great pay range and management really wants to build a strong team. The company is thriving so there is always plenty of work. This is a place for optimistic and motivated self-starters who know how to draw their own boundary line between work and home time. In the areas of training and organization, we are making great progress in the PMO specifically, establishing new processes, etc. Roles and responsibilities are very clear. The PMs primary responsibilities are documentation and communication with clients, with heavy reliance on technical resources. Sentry sends very uniform communications to clients and has instructional guides for how to do your job for many project types. This makes life pretty darn easy and it’s part of our marketing approach so if you don’t like following templates, this role isnt for you. Overall amazing place to be for a PM. The team is also hugely diverse!

The management team has made a few strategic management changes this year and seems to be getting its stride. They need to stay connected with the workforce to understand struggles, specifically high workloads. I truly think they are now aware of this and the recent changes and current push to onboard additional resources across the board have shown they are listening.

Not a professional environment at all! CFO is regularly yelling and swearing at his team, has made most of them cry at one point or another. Admitted to sitting in his car and taking pictures of people leaving early. CIO is loud obnoxious person who often is screaming at her people, slamming doors & phones and swearing at everyone. Sinking Ship lost half their customer in 2018 due to poor management. HIGH turnover never know if you will be next.

Extremely good management. My team cares about their work and is super supportive of each other. HR is top notch, The organization is a flat structure and most employees have access to management at most levels. We are able to work remote 100% at any location in the US. My manager is extremely open to new ideas, and better ways to get things done. She is really intelligent too.

They pay is too low, Senior non managing staff do not have an annual bonus plan. Sentry could pay more, their pay scale is extremely low. With that said, I am still making enough to live. Money is important, but work environment, your manager, and team are important also. Do not believe the negative Glassdoor comments, when I first reviewed them, I had caution. SentryDS has cleaned up their act. I do not work for HR.

This is my second time working for the company. I returned recently because I heard about the positive changes and wanted to be a part of it.
My department leadership is wonderful to work with . We work hard, but are able to be flexible and are empowered to manage our business.
We get excellent training and support, and senior leaders are listening to employee feedback and making positive changes. There are more career paths now and opportunities for growth and advancement.

There is nothing that I can think of that is negative. Construction in the area sometimes makes the drive in difficult.
