There are better and worse places to work
|
I been in better and I have been in much worse. I give SEW 3/5 stars. Salaries are good, they give inflated titles, and they expect a lot from the people working there with little onboarding. Its not some fluffy, millennial day care. Its real software being delivered to critical infrastructure organizations. Everyone is being pulled in several different directions. Keep up or get out. But overall the people are good and its not a bad place to work, especially if you are remote.
For those looking at the job boards - not all the jobs posted are real, but if you bring something unique - hunt down the hiring managers.

Poor cut-throat culture. Long hours expected. Excellent product but poor people skills from management. Greedy culture. There is a lot of backstabbing that is driven by leadership at this company.
