During your time, you'll encounter an exceptional group of colleagues, who are genuinely brilliant and passionate. Moreover, the product itself is truly remarkable. Exposure to Kimberly Clark employees and culture is a plus. If you find yourself somewhere in the middle of the talent spectrum, this workplace can be an ideal fit for you. It offers a conducive environment where mediocrity can thrive. Unlimited PTO (genuinely), mental escape days, stipends - a very big plus. Leadership seems to have a limited understanding of how things are accomplished, and they consistently avoid taking responsibility when things go awry. What's even more puzzling is their unwillingness to heed the advice of the smartest people in the room, who rely on data-driven insights and experience (rather than ego). (As predicted - they have lost some of their best talent). Advancements within the company appear to be driven by personal likability rather than genuine competence in one's field. The brand team (its leadership, not its team) wield significant influence over decision-making processes, yet the current brand persona adopted by Thinx is disappointingly mundane. Should you lack favor with the creative leadership, your experience as an employee here will likely be unpleasant. Relying solely on individuals with agency backgrounds is beginning to take its toll on the overall company culture. It is essential to recognize and reward employees, not only through verbal praise but also through monetary compensation. I encourage you to examine payroll and promotion rates. Are there any discernible disparities? private:shethinx https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=1017666 Feb 13th, 2023 12:00AM Open Open Thinx be prepared to meet some of the best people on earth and report into the absolute worst as most companies go, the people on the ground are incredible and amazing! hands down best coworkers I've ever had. the benefits were good, although I think those are currently changing. once a month mental escape days. - management is highly inept at every level of the org, esp the brand and creative team. be prepared for feedback loops that never end, arbitrary feedback from people who don't really know how to market, and a high school clique leadership style. pretty much the same work culture as the old "toxic" Thinx, but in a new, remote format. - they promote themselves as a trendy product, which once was true, but internally are trying to transform themselves into a tampon/pad/diaper company just like Kotex or Depends, so if you're looking for something groundbreaking or creative, that isn't it. That's just not the direction it's going in anymore. - promotions only happen for people in leadership and they are very secretive about it - HR is sketchy - pay isn't great unless you negotiate HARD - bonus structure is weird and only beneficial for leadership - extremely understaffed and overworked with little recognition -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 2.0 3.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 2.0 1017666 Open Get managerial training or don't hire people who don't have managerial experience.
