Company doesn’t care about customers

Great coworkers, great environment, office is beautiful, very good product even though terrible service.

First of all, I was brought in with the impression that sales was B2B. That was false. It is B2C sales. Most of these consumers have websites that are just personal blogs, part-time side businesses, or their hobbies. Few of the customers are actually running a business full-time. SiteLock has also built a bad reputation among customers. There are many customers who are paying annually for services but none of the services are set up. Upper management encouraged us not to call these customers for fear they will want a refund. Many customers were overcharged to the point where they could upgrade to a higher level of service for no additional cost. However, once again upper management encouraged us NOT to reach out to those customers who are being over charged. Also, there were customers I talked to who were being charged annually for the service but the customers were sure they cancelled their subscriptions. AGAIN, upper management encouraged us not to tell these customers that they were still paying for the service. Most of the customers I communicated with were unhappy with their level of service and saw SiteLock as a rip off because they only get calls when they want more money. Upper management has pushed used car sales tactics on people who are supposed to be trusted advisors in securing their customers’ websites. This company will never grow into the success it should be because of these underhanded sales tactics. They lost the trust of too many customers and that will never be repaired. This is definitely the worst sales organization I’ve ever been a part of.

Everything. They will drain you from the moment you get hired. They will use you as a work horse and then put you down after you’re done. They will ruin your commission structure. They will find excuses to not take any escalated issue seriously. Everything is a joke to this company. Even the executives will go across the floor stating how SiteLock is a horrible company. Stay away.
