Collateral Analyst/Staff Review Appraiser Calabasas, CA USA Highly stressful I only worked in the office, for a few months, then worked from home. Original manager was great to work with, very supportive, caring and quick to respond. When she resigned, upper management reduced my department from 7 people, to just me. New manager was very distant, and, slow to respond I was assigned all of the high risk appraisals to review, which added to the stress load. I was laid off, via phone call, on 2/15/2018, due to a merger with another company. I never had a performance review, or, salary increase. Processor Glendale, CA USA Former Employee Buyer beware...i worked for skyline for 3 years. I was laid off then brought back again. I was under so much pressure to perform that I was making myself sick. I was so stressed our. The environment is very hard to work in. You don't take breaks or lunch there. It's too hard to leave the desk. You work and eat at your desk all the time. Work weekends and no family time because you are just too tired from the stress. The people are awful. Mean spirited. You have to have thick skin to work there and deal with the unfriendlyness of the management and staff. You can make a lot of money but you will pay the price with your life.
