They may not have you pay in to sell their products, but unless you are a ruthless salesperson willing to rope unsuspecting job hunters into the same scheme you've fallen into there is no way to succeed in this structure.

This position required 70-80 hours a week commitment and your paycheck was solely based on commission of your sales team. We worked with different companies such as AT&T & Start New Finanacial.Dress attire is business formal. The management was generally caring, but the work load and payoff did not match up. After all was said and done, the amount of take-home income was not worth the big commitment of 70-80 hours a week and 6 days of that week.

Your job is to be the Costco sample lady for hard good in a Canadian Tire usually, pay is meagre unless you hit commission (35 hours @minimum wage) but you're expected to be on site for 9-10 hours, 5 days a week. Very nice employees, but the business model itself is pryamid like. You make money based on who you trained.

I suppose it is okay if you have a boss who knows what they are doing. Between the inability to hire salesmen and the shaky foundations of the individual sales groups, I wouldn't reccomend. It makes a good summer job and that's about it.

It’s a joke.
|
Basically a scam that tries to brainwash you into thinking you can make tons of money when in reality you spend your days in Costco/ Sams selling direct TV. They “promote” people and make them think they have their own business but really it’s a pyramid scheme. They force you to spend hours on the phone and connecting with people only trying to make you think that you can’t find anything better than their company. They interview about 100 people every week because so many people quit and they are unable to retain people. Zero benefits.. job is a joke.

MLM type structure, but a great place to learn sales

Have to create your own business, including going door to door to sell products. It has a bit of a MLM type feel, which was a negative.. But it was a great way to jump start a career in sales. I learned a lot about sales training that I would not have had the opportunity to do in another business.
