Pretty great pay and pretty much managing yourself

Great job wish I didn't have to leave it's part time hours but the pay was great for like 4 hours a day. You got paid for mileage as well as per hour and management was easy to get along with too

While this seems like a great start-up environment at first, don't be fooled. In the few months I was there 3 employees left and the CEO and the board disagreed constantly. Great folks to socialize with, but terrible folks to work for.

Great Part Time Job

In the morning I drive to the catering company to pick up the healthy lunches for schools/daycare then deliver them to the schools on my route, take the temperature and move on to the next school.
Everything is logged into a phone app (location/miles driven/temperature of food/what is being returned/signature from someone at the location)
Once the deliveries are made I drive back to the catering company to clean out the totes from the day before and put them away.
I love driving my own vehicle and being a part of such a great program

There is a lot to explain what I experienced while working here. All I can say is there needs to be better communication, more empathy and consideration, and company priorities need to be in check especially when it comes to making decisions that affect your employees. Besides that, I might consider this one of my favorite places to work.

A typical day of work is to wake up and manage the route that my co-working will be doing to fill the vending machines. This is a very interesting process because you need to make sure that the route is time and cost efficient.
The next part of my day is when I get into the office and make sales calls to schools, business and health centers to gauge interest in vending machines and to craft my pipeline as so.
Then the next part of the day is ordering the proper amount of snacks/ beverages to stock the machines while keeping in mind frequency of what product is bought, expiration dates and to make sure that the inventory process goes smoothly and efficiently as possible.
With our technology that we have with inventory data, there is a weekly process of seeing what sells. While being careful of certain schools restrictions of products, find the best mix that sells.
Make bi weekly rotational calls to accounts to ensure that the product is satisfactory to them.
A lot of my time is taken up to sales meetings. Meeting with prospective clients, explaining our product and ensuring that their venue would be a profitable location.
