Not People Focused. -Extremely understanding of time off, great COVID response (working from home, lending out equipment needed to carry out job duties). -The company is extremely open to diversity. -Company owner imposes his gameplay preferences into game development over player & developer feedback and also makes last minute decisions (even sometimes going back on prevoius decision) -The company doesn't employ enough QA to address long-standing bugs and balance in many of its products. -Health Insurance premiums increased without notifying employees (used to be no cost to employee. Same plan now costs around $200 a month) -Company lags on performance reviews, still no raise or mention of raise here. -Upper Managment has poor people skills. Management does not communicate. You must speak Chinese to progress up for more opportunities. Male Chinese employees are highly respected but no one else. Great opportunities to grow and get industry experience. Company very supportive with growth and development. Senior management (which has now left) was amazing during my tenure. Not sure how they are now. Allowed me to get my foot in the door and move on to bigger and better things after. Poor management by overseas executives. Unclear goals and objectives. Heavy micromanagement by foreign corporate office. Games are not great and difficult to work on.
