A group of like-minded individuals all striving to produce fantastic work. The company does have some growing pains as they are getting more and more work, while trying to figure out the best way to provide an excellent experience to their client. Outside of those pains, there are some other issues that may be hit or miss for you. In my experience, there are not clearly defined paths for advancement. Some of the leadership take on too much for what they should be doing and in off-loading of those responsibilities could open opportunity for positions to be created that would allow for more advancement in the company hierarchy. The most critical factor during my time on the company was the leaderhip of my department. I typically tried to stay away from drama and negativity, but it was sometimes hard. I have rarely seen a more polarizing individual leading a department. Despite numerous complaints to the higher-ups, it seemed like nothing was going to change this situation. This person’s ability to create so much turmoil in the department was unparalleled.
