The problems start with the management for the sales floor, constant micro managing, inferiority complexes, and job insecurity drive managers to constantly be breathing down your neck. That paired with AWFUL communication is a recipe for a toxic work environment, where even the most successful salesmen on the floor cannot succeed. Within the first week I could tell there were big issues and those even grew as I continued as a "salesman". Simple questions that stem from unclarity due to the very small amount of training was rewarded with negativity from management, which then leaves employees feeling like they can't ask questions. On top of that, because there's basically no training or processes that you can follow to stay consistent on the job, any healthy critiques that are brought to these managers are hit back with personal attacks. - The pay is decent, above average. But don't let that be the determining factor when applying for this job. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.
