Working at SpendHQ, a subsidiary of Insight Sourcing Group, has been the highlight of my professional career so far. One of its core principals, People Matter Most, is demonstrated daily, both internally and externally with its clients. The management team cares deeply about its people, its clients, and all final deliverables. At SpendHQ, I was given the autonomy to execute to the best of my abilities in my role and the flexibility to have a true work-life balance. Never in my career have I worked around such high-performing individuals across all departments. SpendHQ, and the larger Insight Sourcing Group, should be a consideration for anyone looking for a truly great place to work. There are still silos that exist within the organization, making it difficult at times to be proactive about your work. Everyone treated each other with respect and consideration. They all had a very high standard of integrity and treated each other and the clients with loyalty and honesty. All levels of management (including CEO) were very concerned about work-life balance and making sure all employees were happy to be there. The CEO hosts great semi-annual parties and invites spouses, significant others, and children. It's by far one of the best places I've ever worked. Long days. The expectation is at least a 9-hour day. People often do more than that, but they monitor to make sure you don't do too much more. (They don't want you to burn out.) The managers (at least mine) were not micro-managers, but because we had to report our time in 15 minute blocks, it felt that way.
