Very cool discount okay management okay customer olay but overall a good experience besides it being so slow sometimes it was so slow you’d show up for your shift and they’d send you home due to lack of business

Fun environment, good beginning job

Great people to work with. Very easy job, and easy to learn. Local management was good, but regional managers were condescending and weren’t very interested in treating staff like anything more than just a number.

Enjoyed working with the product as well as many hard working, intelligent team members. Ultimately the company had too much debt, and had several older locations that needed to be updated.

I loved working at Sports Authority. I wish they were still open. They had great deals on shoes, apparel, sports equipment and more. Unfortunately all the locations closed.

On a coworker level it was amazing. As far as the higher ups dictating so much without being in the stores was crazy. Way too much time wanting to make their idea look a certain way they lost out on why they were there. That’s why it went under :(

The sales was in overdrive. That became the only focus and lower management took it out on the floor employers. Getting a discount on shoes was great. Customers were mostly nice.
