Great colleagues always ready to give you a hand no matter how busy they are.
|
- Workbalance is non-existent, you will work more than what you expect or what they make you believe (sometime you won't even be able to rest or sleep while travelling).
- The executive team will promote communication but they honestly don't care about your opinion unless you're part of the favorite employees (and still...).
- The CEO is inconstant, no control of his behavior. He gives false statements and lies to his employees. He has no consideration for Project Managers, he treat them like ants "work until you quit and we'll find someone else to replace you".
- You will be hold accountable for any failures or mistakes in the project development. Hust bare in mind that the company doesn't care about how many times you went beyond the clients' expectations, they will always remind you what went wrong.

- The CEO is a control freak and has no shame in lying and giving bad arguments for his decisions. He definitely needs to follow a therapy and learn how to control his extreme emotions issues (insulting and yelling at your employees is NOT OK).
- No compensation for the hard work and be ready to take full accountability for any problems although it's not your fault.
- Fake reviews on Glassdoor are not going to improve neither the work environment nor the work load. For attracting and retaining key talents, a brain is needed.
- The whole management is a big joke. Leading with fear is not the "best" way.

First of all, show some integrity. Stop asking your employees who are in fear of losing their jobs to write fake 5* reviews on Glassdoor to attract unaware talent. If you want good reviews, work on being a good employer.
Tips: invest in training individuals, encourage career development and progress, make work/life balance your priority... Can you even imagine where you could be if people actually liked working for you? The events industry should be fun and inspiring. There's no reason to be such a bummer.
