The staff was fun. The pace was very busy at times but never dull or boring. The food was always great because they had high standards on quality of food and service. This was often not the case. It was a hostile environment at times with managers getting on servers even though they were often unaware of their current situation. I've had much better experiences working in restaurants before. Management largely didn't know how to treat employees who were on the job, but they did treat employees well off the job. Managers played favorites and gave the people they liked more better sections/tables. Luckily for me, I was generally liked. The best part of the job was meeting some great, down to earth people many of whom became good friends of mine even after I was done with the job. Although it was a stressful experience, it definitely taught me the value of always treating people with respect. Additionally, it taught me how to multi-task and and deal with high stress situations whether it be with coworkers or guests of the establishment. It was a great job to have, I loved he chef and I really feel like I belonged there. The people were awesome. Everyone appreciated me. We were a team.
