Springbot is not a terrible place, it just wasn’t a good fit for me.
|
A young, fresh out of college culture. Very clique-oriented. Most of the leaders are young and don’t have much management experience. Take this into consideration if you've had a pretty substantial work background—you may have more work history/experience than your ‘team lead’. Salary is very low considering the work load as well as the amount of tech companies in Atlanta that have the same position offering at least $20K more. Diversity is also lacking. Out of approximately 150 employees, there are only 10 people of color.
Focus on employee retention, Pay employees comparable to industry standards & hard work that is consistently delivered. Place individuals in leadership positions who are actually experienced, skilled and knowledgeable on how to lead and develop a team. Diversity and inclusion definitely should be implemented asap.
