Inside sales involved the usual sales support duties - working with Operations, Logistics and Purchasing to ensure on-time delivery - and collaboration with Territory Managers to continue relationships with established customers. Prospect calling to new and lapsed customers was also involved. Company was small and privately owned. Larger coil processing companies were better able to compete on price/delivery/range of services, which made our best efforts an uphill climb.
In my 3 years, I learned everything I know about stainless alloys and the metals industry, which I found very interesting.

typical day would start at 5 am. usually a 10 hr day time and a half after 8hrs each day.
