Don’t work here
|
Currently working out a notice with the company after being here close to a year . Opportunity's for advancement is an absolute joke my co worker is amazing but all of the rest could use some work . The pay is awful for today’s economy , even if you try to move up they will change the subject & the work life balance is non existent not to mention turn over rate is sky high . Will never work here again & for your own sake don’t work here either trust me you are not valued here what’s so ever .

Slow branch not much of a crowd, 4 employees at minimum. Most customers only came in for an eye exam & went elsewhere for glasses. Overall a chill job

It’s alright for a first job, they rotate management a lot always short staffed, don’t follow the rules, the telehealth is on it’s own a whole different story.

Short staffed. People don't apply. Seems like if you hire someone. They don't want to do the work

Fun! We have the best technology and have hybrid eye exams which are convenient to the customer
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I help customers select their new eyewear.Make adjustments so they fit comfortably. Assist new contact lense wearers with insertion and removal.. manufacture eyeglasses on-site lab. do eyeglass repairs. Dispense contacts and spectacles

Store Manager doesn’t handle problems and is rude. Didn’t get training from the store manager she ran from problems

Toxic, no training, high turn over rate and no value to associates. Store manger talks to you in condescending tone and extremely rude to patients. Culture of company, they don’t care.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Helping fulfill the patients needs while store manager takes commissions from you. Leaving you alone in store and I just started

I worked alone most days and there's a revolving door of employees. Unless you like doing 5 jobs alone I wouldn't recommend. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

I regret working here.

I was over worked. Plus most of the time I had no staff or I was short staffed my entire time here. When I asked for help from another store it was always denied. This is the worse job I have ever had.

The pay was okay.

The manager when i first got hired was a nice salesman made me think it was a professional establishment, the company is understaffed so it quickly changed. Next manager brought a new hostile environment. Corporate did not help anyone except managers. Even my family had staff related errors with their orders.
