Chief people officer thinks by wasting budget on flying a team out with no plan or structure that will fix the culture she helped to run into the ground by being incompetent. - New CEO has no clue what’s going on. - Upper management gaslights unlike anything I’ve ever seen. - There have been 4-5 major layoffs and there are more to come. After each layoff management says this is the last one. I sort of lost any trust in their statements regarding layoffs since after they make these statements, they just have another round of layoffs a few months after the last. - It’s sad most upper management will continue their atrocious parade of incompetence at any other company after their grift at Stash. Honestly if they left the workforce entirely this would help America so much. Nobody needs toxic, silly, unintelligent, inexperienced leaders going anywhere else to continue their torture tactics and gaslighting elsewhere. Please just take your millions and go far far away from any other place of employment for normal people. Or better yet, try to find a job for some regime somewhere so you can show off your amazing propaganda skills. Kate Ring, the “Chief Compliance Officer” you definitely fit this. Your Glassdoor reviews are abysmal for a reason and there is no amount of fake marketing you can do on LinkedIn about your silly CEO to fix this image. You ran a company into the ground which has a very replicable product (many other companies already offer this service now and it’s much better than your product which has many bugs and shortcomings). Honestly I would just brace for when some regulator finally comes through and cleans house since your business practices are borderline illegal. I’m just sitting here waiting on the Netflix documentary about how you’re the new Enron and scam investors to keep the lights on. This company is really a joke now and many of you know it since you made it this way. There is no upward mobility, no real product, you are terrible to your customers, and you have no clue what to do to keep the doors open. The only plan you have is to fire everyone each quarter and hope that fixes what you broke. The most recent round of lay offs was 25% of the company which included senior folks who’ve been with the company since the beginning. The CEO who has also been a board member just wants to maximize their profits and get out. They keep hiring new VPs every other month before they plan to lay off people so they can make it seem as if it was the newbies decision. the recent years some of the managers they been hiring are the worst traditional micromanaging corporate ladder climbing losers who suck up to execs to keep their jobs and would step over everyone just to get a measly pay raise and title. Those who have dignity and want to do a meaningful job without sucking up get tossed. Inexperienced Engineer Managers who come from toxic traditional backgrounds and no directions. This means everything else started to fall be the wayside and multiple rounds of huge layoffs. The app experience and customer service have all taken a back seat to this single goal and eclipsed the original mission of lowering the entry bar to everyday people to invest. It's extremely disappointing that the decision to move away from actual caring about customers and their investments happened.. and that means the people not in the C Suite that do the actual day to day work and improvement are no longer with the company. It seems like a money grab for the top office to "fake" profitability long enough to sell or IPO so they can take their golden parachutes and move on to the next company. Disappointing.
