Worst management ever. You’ll get yelled at on your first day in 4 different languages. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Every line is like a race to keep up. Pay is too low for what you actually go through mentally. You get treated poorly by almost everyone. It’s disgustingly dusty and dirty and we’re packaging food in that dust and dirt. I once saw a line malfunction and the crackers went all over the floor and I watched them pick it off the floor and pack it into containers.

Steady, simple job. Lots of overtime, strenuous work all for a pay rate slightly higher than minimum wage that they consistently attempt to make lower.
|
Stated as above, mundane work that wouldn't be as bad if it weren't for such a predatory atmosphere. Ladies, do not worry for production because they are indifferent. Men, look out for the old men who stare relentlessly, unwarranted sensual back touches, and conversations one should never have with ones manager. To put in the best way, not a good experience for straight men.

There are clearly divided sides in the sexual harassment occurring where the cookies are actually made. Wouldn't be an issue if they are gay but it was disgusting experiencing the vulgar, invasive habits of your long term employees. I was not the only employee to share this strong observation.

If the COO would stop micromanaging everything there are many opportunities to add process and systems to this sleepy company.
|
The culture will not change and the business will never move forward unless the current COO leaves. The toxicity begins with the lack of leadership capabilities, micromanagement, ego and overall lack of concern for people from the COO. This organization does not hold people accountable, does not invest in their people and has highly antiquated systems. Talented people do not remain long and innovative ideas are being blocked. Bad behaviors are being reinforced and the COO seems to be thriving on the disruption it is causing.

Third shift management very unprofessional. Favoritism everywhere in plant. Afraid to enforce company rules if it involves a minority employee. Shift manager screams at certain people and allows the favored ones to slack all the time.

Not the hardest job, however HR is the worst. They could care less about human life. Head op manager is useless.

I wish i could put something down. The supervisor in processing is excellent ( day shift). The money is good, some ppl are okay

7 days a week. You have No life its mandatory. No sick time, early on Mondays at 4am which they dont tell you when they hire you. Points for EVERYTHING. Worst thing i EVER DID.

Hire a weekend shift, we are getting burned out. Mistakes happen, some flexibility would be great. Incentives. You have takin them all away. We are doing what you want, so give us what we want (family time). A union would be excellent. Its costing the company more money with OT then it would for an extra shift. Workmens comp is climbing bexause we are tired and burned out. Stop taking our holidays from us. Im sure you wobt change a thing. Just remember ,word of mouth is huge in york co.
