Pandemic NOT handled well

Coworkers are great - very knowledgeable and helpful. You get to work on some really fun and interesting projects.

The pandemic was NOT handled well. Full-time in-person operations resumed in June 2020, even though it's an open floor plan office with less than 6 feet between most adjoining desks. Even those with underlying health conditions were pressured to return to the office.

Flexibility coming into work- but good luck leaving

You will spend everyday rushing to meet a deadline that will be scrapped in a week to a month.
Deadlines create little regard for peoples social life
Unrealistic expectations suck the life out of the happiest and greatest employees
Most deadlines are laid on you with little to no notice, causing you to drop whatever plans you had after your shift to work late into the night
Poor communication on what was happening on the project at the top end. This makes it hard for drafters to design with those changes in mind instead of being stuck in a hole of redlines.
It’s a flourescent cave of dispair
