- No major layoff in engineering during Covid-19

Covid-19 basically turned this business to dust. Questionable upper management ability led to long dragging problematic contracts and waste of engineering effort. The business focus shifted once again in 2020, and all the work done in 2019 was thrown away. The answer for round funding is never being clear throughout the year despite the fact that questions were raised in each all hands meeting.

My experience at Stellar Labs has been great to date. I've enjoyed my first exposure to working on a Silicon Valley-based company and team. Management has made several changes in the past 6-9 months and the company is poised for big things. The negative reviews you'll see on here are likely from the period of time before big changes were made. I myself did not read the reviews before accepting the job. However, when I saw them it was a bit puzzling as they did not reflect my experience I had when meeting and working with the team.

I think there were culture problems in the past and it feels like management may be trying too hard to figure out the company culture.
The work from home policy needs to be more flexible and better defined.
