Lack of communication makes for an unstable, chaotic work environment.

This place looks great on paper and the HR department really knows how to sell you. The teams at the collection centers are small, so there is the potential for a great work environment. Locally.
Unfortunately, most of your daily work will require communication with collection centers and staff all across the country and poor communication seems to built into the foundation of this company. There is a very "go with the flow" and "don't ask questions, this is just how it's done" kind of culture that has been established. And it's tiresome, to say the absolute least. Communication breakdowns happen daily with little to no accountability from the sales or management teams. People are fired at will, especially if they voice any kind of disagreements or set any kind of boundary. There is no uniformity across their collection centers because the SOPs are incomplete, full of errors, or non-existent, the quality process and departments are an absolute disaster and there is NO training department or structure to their training programs. They will demand nimbleness and adaptability, and then exploit it over and over and over again. Any "promotion" or increase in responsibility does not come with an appropriate raise and work-life balance is abysmal; they say "family comes first", but product will ALWAY have priority and you will be terminated if you do anything to jeopardize that. The pay is great but the benefits are expensive, and the physical and emotional toll this job will take on you (even after just a year) makes it all absolutely not worth it.

Terrible company

This company only cares about making money. They will fire anyone for no reason. There is terrible management, no organization, no consistency with procedures, no adequate training, no respect for your time, no work life balance, and they will take advantage of your work ethic until you crack and then they will let you go. Work somewhere else!

Ive work in many roles where communication was nonexistent and hard work was not appreciated or acknowledge, not at stemexpress its the opposite. We spend as much time as possible on learning and self improvement. A business runs smoothly when the culture is one of acceptance toward peer's, it takes team building experience to foster acceptance. My Experience at StemExpress

I am here to give an honest review of my experience working at StemExpress so far. Since I started here at StemExpress I have done everything I can to learn and develop myself as an employee and in my career. StemExpress (The CEO specifically) has done nothing but help me in my journey and growth and has met my passion with equal support. Today I begin a journey of studying for a 2nd certification the company is paying for me to get within my career area. The CEO even has one on one meetings with everyone in my department, to me shows that she actually cares about the team.
Have I had the greatest experience with every manager here? No, but that is similar to every other job I've had. I really enjoy the majority of my coworkers and would encourage anyone that thinks this might be the right fit to apply.
What I can say is if you have a passion for learning, being challenged, science and are willing to put in the work, you will be recognized and rewarded. At least this is what I've seen so far.
