The people there care about your success as long as you are honest about your abilities and willing to work hard. If you need help, they will be sure that you get it. And, they will give you opportunities that will allow you to shine. There is a lack of cohesion about the strategic direction of the organization. It appears to be a hodgepodge of different program goals and objectives. Stimson Center Research Intern Washington, DC Great place to work as an intern -There's very little "busy work" and you'll have the opportunity to engage with experts and actually contribute to research. -Interns are encouraged to publish while working and receive guidance and feedback for this. -Everyone (even the CEO) is approachable and more than willing to share their experiences and offer advice. -This is an unpaid internship.
