Management is terrible. It's pretty much a "do as I say or go home" mentality. There's no room to grow and evidently being disrespectful to the people that work under you is encouraged.

Nice place to work nice people some become like family, the hours are good and you have the weekends off. And if you do work weekends it's overtime. Have good benefits

Great job just working with fiber glass is rough. If you got kids be careful. I loved the pay and the people it was just hard to get the fiber glass out my skin

The pay was good but when you are dealing with chemicals there are always some type of health risk. I loved the work just not the chemicals. They stay in your system for a very long time.

The best part about working at stingray was we only worked Monday through Thursday.
|
Stingray is a place of business that will keep you busy. They have great benefits. While working there, i learned how to build fishing seats. Management was not too pushy as long as my work was completed on time and accurate, which was never a problem. The owner is family oriented, peaceful, and communicated important information during plant meetings.

The CEO came from the soft drink industry, and doesn't understand the marine industry. Replaced me with an employee that had been dismissed from a previous position for stealing from his employer.

Stingray boats may have nice boats, but the work environment is terrible. No air conditioning in the summer and it gets up to 130°F. Were forced to do even more work for less pay. I do not recommend this job.
