private:streak https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=502167 Oct 27th, 2022 12:00AM Open Open Streak Account Executive Amazing place to work Streak is a small, nimble company that puts product development and the wellbeing of its contributors front and center. I could not recommend working there more, especially if you are early in your career. It will help you set a firm benchmark for the type of quality you should expect from future roles. They have the stability of a larger company, but their size allows you to wear multiple hats and to learn a lot. The size of the company makes career mapping somewhat difficult, particularly in the customer facing roles. A lot of stellar Customer Success people do wonderfully and then outgrow their roles and move on to other companies (not a terrible thing, but worth noting). The sales team is somewhat similar, leads are completely inbound and product qualified. This makes selling somewhat easier, but limits the growth potential of the team/company. The pool of leads is naturally limited and so the growth of the sales team is as well. They've discussed putting more into marketing efforts, but to my knowledge this has not had tremendous success as of yet. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 3.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 502167 Open Break Customer Success and Customer Support into two teams and have the Success team work more closely with Sales as opposed to Support. Success should have renewal/expansion quotas (not 50/50 for their OTE, but maybe 80/20). Work on marketing to increase lead volume, I know this is a work in progress. The Sales team could/should be involved in this as well, maybe by attending relevant conferences and the like. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 4.0 Open Oct 27th, 2022 06:13PM Oct 27th, 2022 06:13PM Streak

The company has the agility of a small start-up, but the stability and benefits of a larger company. As a smaller company the number of upper management roles is fairly limited, so professional growth can be difficult. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 3.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 502167 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 2.0 Apr 1st, 2021 01:29PM Jun 30th, 2021 05:06PM Streak

private:streak https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=502167 Dec 29th, 2018 12:00AM Open Open Streak Here for a while for a reason - Great customers - Amazing team (both my team and the entire Streak team) - Smart and innovative team - Fun and reliable product that you can actually use in your everyday - Quarterly reviews for feedback/ comp evaluation - Weekly team syncs that enable transparency across the organization - Wonderful people to surround yourself with, hard working and fun after work, too - Team lead is really hard working and clearly sets a tone for our team - Career growth within the company is attainable - No bad people! (contrary to the reviews on interviews here, there are literally no "bros" at the company.... 100% not like the other Start-Ups from personal experience) - Vacation policy is now 15 days a year (not unlimited) and does not include any days off at the end of the year (Dec 25 and Jan 1 are the only days, even if you don't celebrate Christmas) - Previous HR was a bit too much and seemed to be looking for issues/ drama... They are no longer at Streak - Compensation adjustment only once a year - Feel under-appreciated as a non-eng employee from time to time - No women in leadership roles 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 2.0 4.0 4.0 5.0 4.0 2.0 4.0 0.0 502167 Open More freedom to WFH Better transparency with the product roadmap (essentially non-existent) 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 2.0 Oct 24th, 2019 12:20PM Jun 30th, 2021 05:06PM Streak
private:streak https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=502167 Nov 28th, 2018 12:00AM Open Open Streak San Francisco, CA Best of both worlds; the usual growing pains People. Inclusion isn't hyped up -- it's apparent. Flat structure lends itself to a jerk-free space. Not a ton of turnover, lots of interviewing -- OGs and newbies get along because everybody's socially well-adjusted and here to work. Culture. Founders are pretty transparent and have families of their own, so they are good about work/life balance. Food/snacks, standing desks, health/vision/dental, gym reimbursement, professional development perks like all the big companies. Small enough that we can eat together, but not cultish about it. (No "scarlet letters" for disagreeing...heck, arguing might earn you points around here). Real Work. No vanity projects here. You will get to dig in and try different things; learning quickly is a must. If you don't produce, it's immediately obvious. Pretty stable. Not really scared of the company disappearing overnight and each team is pretty solid in terms of skill and commitment to the company. After being burned out (or churned out ) of the big companies, Streak is a pretty good place to land. Growing pains. It's still a start-up, even if an older one. Some things are in transition and you may have to step up to fill in gaps. If you don't have an ownership mindset or trust the Founders, you may find it hard to stay motivated. In some ways, you will be your own boss, so if you're not self-directed, probably not a fit. Picky when it comes to hiring, but that could be a Pro, depending on how you look at it. If you get you an offer, they really want you and think highly of your skills... But relative to big companies, this is not the highest paying job you could get in the Bay Area. If you're solely motivated by cash, try elsewhere or negotiate. They are "competitive-ish" 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 4.0 4.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 4.0 4.0 0.0 502167 Open Recognition will go a long way to continue retaining employees. Happy people are your best recruiting tool. Stay picky - one bad hire could shift the entire company culture in the wrong direction. Dream up the game-changer that will make an IPO inevitable. Think about adding (up to) 40% WFH option and supporting more of a remote work culture. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 1.0 Oct 24th, 2019 12:20PM Jun 30th, 2021 05:06PM Streak
private:streak https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=502167 Nov 9th, 2018 12:00AM Open Open Streak Software Engineer San Francisco, CA Most of what I like about large companies with under 50 people I'd recommend Streak most strongly to experienced engineers who want the amount of impact that they can have at a small place, but don't want their nights and weekends ruined. Streak is at the age and stage where most startups are needing to hire engineers to keep their duct taped together systems running. Instead, almost all of our time is spent on actual features and improvements, which let's us talk through things and make better decisions. It reminds me of working at larger companies in that way, except we can just do it instead of spending weeks dealing with bureaucracy first. Compensation is less than a large company, but reasonable for the company size. The chances of a huge payout seem slim. The founders are better than most but are going through the normal stages. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 3.0 4.0 5.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 4.0 0.0 502167 Open Most of the things you are dealing with have been seen before, make sure that you get the insight and experience of those around you, as that will help you avoid a lot of common mistakes. Getting better at showing that you understand what someone is trying to tell you will only get more important as the company grows, and often people aren't looking for control over a decision, they just want their input respected. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 1.0 Oct 24th, 2019 12:20PM Jun 30th, 2021 05:06PM Streak
