It makes you stronger if it doesn't kill you. "They don't really care about us" can be a brief introduction. When I first start here, I was really happy because I didn't know what was waiting for me. I was coming from abroad and "literally" a drunk recruiter told me they were gonna pay 13.92 months salary per year but she didn't say "not first year". The same drunk recruiter sent me an offer which should have gone to someone else (not joking). All the HR department is like a joke, now the company is Sitecore but they're still the same people who are not smart in the kindest way and they act like the lawyers of the company instead helping the employees about their problems. I already resigned and i'm in notice period that's why i feel confident to write all the experience I have here. VP of Technology likes some Dutch people and hates the others in a very simple way. He is racist. He said "here it smells really bad" to one of our Indian colleagues when he was angry about something else. I can write a book about this company but I prefer to keep it short and warn you what is waiting for you if you're planning to join this company. Reasonable management, only had to work a couple of weekends over two years, and got compensated for that 2. Had opportunity to grow into managing people 3. The former lead architect was one of the most knowledgeable people I've met in the IT industry 4. Breakfasts 5. Ping-Pong 6. Great people when I was there 7. CTO sat down with developers so he had a connection to the people making the product 8. Spacious office 1. Office location, Voorst, a bit remote outside Brussels 2. Belgium eat taxes..
