easy to stand out, lots to improve, in some departments (sales, cs, marketing) there are fantastic teammates to work with.

I had a terrible experience. Unfortunately there is toxic leadership in the R&D group at Sugar and it creates an unhealthy workplace. Lots of politics and gaslighting among the Product and Engineering leadership and will decide rather arbitrarily whether you're part of the inner circle. If you're not, you mine as well leave. The worst part is the HR department encourages this behavior rather than protects employees from this abuse. Too bad - because I met a lot of awesome teammates at Sugar in other departments.

Clean house in the Product and Engineering group. Find true technology folks and products folks who talk to customers and can lead from the front versus backstabbing, gossip. You need to change that culture because it shows up in the quality of your products.

Really great company culture

One of the best things about Sugar is the people. The second is that our customers love us and love the product. I work remotely with the option of going into the office and I find management are really supportive. People don’t just talk about getting things done, they actually get them done and genuinely care.

Don’t get me wrong every job and company has its cons but some are worse than others. I just don’t feel that there is anything worth mentioning at Sugar.
