Sungage headed in the wrong direction

CA office was one of the best offices with the most delightful of people to work with across coasts.This is a great place to learn the ropes of Salesforce, tableau, and solar lending, but be prepared to do most of it on your own and very little help from management

laying off employees that were crucial to the production and service to Sungage was a huge mistake. Does not like to promote candidates that demonstrate their ability to their job and well. Does not promote diversity, and asks for feedback consistantly, but does nothing with the feedback.Pay is not market rate, and they say they are going to give employees certain items but don't ( IE was expected to get a vest, from management, but never received it) Felt like the CA market particularly was one they don't see any value in, and they cannot compete, but spend more time on the markets that do make money ( such as FL, and the east coast) Oh and Sara is not the CEO at Sungage anymore, it's an entirely different company now much more corporate with a CEO who has no solar knowledge.

- The transparency from the leadership team. I've been especially happy with the level of clarity during the pandemic. It hasn't been a walk in the park, but it's been clear what the company is doing to set us up for success as best as possible.
- The people and company culture are incredible and the first thing most people say they love about working here.
- The benefits: 100% of health insurance premium is covered by the company, 401(k) matching, HSA contributions, includes vision and dental.
- The company puts a priority on hiring within and has allowed the growth of employees in new positions that they may not have gone to school for (e.g. Customer Service Rep --> Product Developer).

- Priorities/processes can sometimes change quickly depending on the environment we're in. This is something I don't mind, but change management is a good skill to have and work on if you work here.
- Communicating across offices can be challenging at times.
