This company had grand ideas and never enough funding to do anything right. Eventually they went out of business having NOT PAID many employees, even those who secured a judgement. Stay clear of Fred Rogers and anyone who thinks that cheating and stealing from employees -- people who worked hard in poor conditions -- is any way to run a business. Poor management. Documented record of failing to pay employees and vendors. Employees are treated well and often devoted to the company, but employees are often not paid, and many hold unsatisfied judgements (Labor Board). Management is respectful to all employees. Company culture is a nice calming atmosphere. Work hard and you will be acknowledged. Training classes are fun and informative. The "left hand" sometimes doesn't know what the "right hand" is doing. Management can shield certain things that the employees are entitled to know. Limited resources can often make it difficult to do certain jobs. Low salaries compared to the location. Leaving all the employees without a clue in the world about how well the company is doing financially was a mistake. It was exciting to also challenge the research from the Professors and to create a business from concept to execution. Unfortunately, execution from senior management was lackluster. CEO was too ambitious without sufficiently using funds correctly. Due to lack of funds and start-up of multiple projects at the same time, every project was only done at 20% efficiency.
