The client services team is growing and they've hired some really great people. The CRO left after 6 months and the dearth of leadership within the organization was exposed. Panel size and what data is being captured is not even close to what they tell clients, so that is a major issue. Goal is to move away from custom projects towards a platform based sale, but that platform is at least a year away from being client facing. Upper management seldom knew how to do the things they requested of employees, so it forced us to take initiative. Where to begin? So many high-salaried sales execs hired who didn't sell a single thing before being hired. When they did sell, they misrepresented our services so much that the delivery team had to scramble last minute to produce something as close as possible to what they described. And what's with hiring so many VPs while laying off the worker bees?
