Took years to recover from the burnout T3 caused
|
|
- Lots of variety, very fast-paced work
- Worked with brilliant people
- Inspiring creative work
|
- Work/Life Balance was non-existent. Often leadership leans on "scrappy" and "self-starter" and "family" language to get you to work on weekends for little return
- Low compensation
- Manipulative and toxic culture, lots of energy wasted on emotional chess games for deserved promotions and internal politics
- Seeing people crying and pulling late hours was very common and working over time was often applauded.
- Though your experience does vary depending what team you are on, don’t work here if you are beginning your career- you will become a workaholic and burn out
- The pros do not outweigh these cons. The stories I tell of my experience at T3 leave my current coworkers horrified.

Previously good benefits before acquired by Material, not horrible afterwards but more corporate and less unique. Decent people.
|
Lots of bullying especially from the client team. No process or procedures in place and onboarding is a total joke. Expected to come in, thrown in the deep end and then left with me support and lean teams. Little to no resources to do your work. Teams that end of having to work the most get treated worst.

One of the coolest places I've worked

They have many opportunities for working on innovative projects for clients that stem from AI and Behavioral Analysis to simply helping scale a backend application.
They hire really sharp and talented people, and except the best from them.
I really appreciated how the help organize projects for clients and set clear expectations on them so that their employees could have a work life balance.
They're people seemed to be the most important asset to them, and it showed through and through.
I know why they always used to call us Damned Good People. I take a lot of those soft skills they taught me and tried to be a better developer because of it.
