Amazing place to work
|
Hands down the best fast food job I've ever had, in fact it's nothing like other fast food jobs. The management is friendly but still what management should be and do their jobs well. The owner visits frequently to make sure everything is perfect and everyone is happy, he's truly one of a kind and an amazing genuine person as well with incredible integrity. I've never even seen an owner at other fast food places. I loved working there and would definitely accept a position there again if offered. It's like your part of a family and you feel cared for and loved.

The other employees weren’t nice
|
The other employees would make me do everything when I showed up and I would be forced to stay an our or 2 after I was spouse to. They would have me working long ours and I had school to deal with.

VERY toxic work environment
|
Toxic work environment. Didn't "fit in" with any of the other employees. Gossip and rumors were CONSTNTLY being spread about and around all employees among several instances where customers were being cheated on items (specifically quantities) but I don't hold this against the company just the employees I worked and the inattentive management.

A good job to have

Taco Time was a good place to work the people I worked with were amazing and friendly, i loved working there cause there was something new I could learn and they were very good at helping out when needed the pay was fair. The only thing that did suck was management my night time Manager was amazing but the day manager was not the best. Over all experience there was great I loved the work and loved the people only down side was management.

Work-life balance
I got close to no hours. I was promised 26 per pay period. The first time I tried to use my sick time which I had earned they fired me while I was in the hospital. They vape in the kitchen and the fry cook has a beard and doesn’t wear a hair net. The kitchen is a health hazard and the food is horrible.
Pay & benefits
They will try to fire you for using any of your benefits
Job security and advancement
I was thrown in without training. I had to teach myself how to run the line.
Management
She doesn’t do any of the work she sits in her office and tells other people to do it. My “training” as a line cook consisted of her telling me to do dishes she needed to get done before she could leave.
Culture
The kitchen doesn’t work well it’s always tense and will probably get shut down by the health department soon.
Overall
I doubt anyone in that kitchen actually had their permits or experience. It’s a disgusting work environment and I implore anyone considering applying look elsewhere!

Bad Management

The management was terrible. I was over worked and underpaid. I was working hard to keep the store running and not getting any recognition. Hours were awful. Id be scheduled to close then open the next day.
