TTNW is not a “career” for most people. Being a “crew member” is suitable for energetic, able bodied individuals. Be warned, the restaurants are poorly run.
- Training is minimal.
- You will be expected to work hard.
- The coworkers are okay for the most part, but management is terrible.

Honestly felt like I wasn’t welcomed. Coworkers would have conversations and I wouldn’t be apart of it.. Training didn’t feel like training it was like I was being told what to do instead of how to do it.

Don't waste your Taco Time
|
You apply for a full time job and they give you part time hours.
You get a raise every 6 months but they cut your hours so you're still making the same amount.
They cut your hours and expect you to work just as hard... For less pay. They would rather have you come in and work when your sick than just call out (the amount of times I've heard people mention they're sick is concerning since, you know, this is a restaurant and these people handle food!) oh and most of the management will hang out in the back doing the easy work while the only two crew members deal with a full line.

work drama, poor management and hours

Decided to leave because I wasn't getting the training I needed even though it had been discussed several times with my manager there that I would be retrained on things since at the time of my hiring I was also hired with a few other people so I wasn't trained the best. Was constantly under a lot of pressure or else I would be snapped at for screwing up the simplest things. Was gaslit by a manager into trying to change my schedule back after I said I couldn't work late closings because they wanted to keep they amount of hours they were getting. Manager continuously brought her home life and marital drama to work and it effected everyone there negatively. I would say it was beneficial by exposing me to how a real job could be but at the same time I got a new (and better) job and it has way less of the stuff I had to deal with working here. Basically expect to be put under the pressure of a manager in a crew member position & be able to deal with personal drama there if you actually consider working here.

We were guilt-tripped if we tried to call out sick or had safety concerns. Pay was not good and upper management does not care about lower level employees.

My first job. Slow start and then not so bad. Ideal first job learned the basics of customer service and making food on a rail at the same time. Didn't like having to cook chicken/beef though.
