All in all did not like this job.
|
I dealt with upset customers day in and day out and our technical consultants had difficulty in resolving their problems. I was not technical in this field. Tectura was a company that grew through acquisitions. Often times the developers that customized the software package for my customers were long gone before I took over the accounts. 80% of the time was spent on 20% of my customers. I was measured on product sales and I found it difficult to sell to customers when the initial software package they bought wasn't providing the functionality and service they had hoped for.

I had two great managers there, really people oriented and treated everyone with respect. I enjoyed my work there. It turned out I had a life long friend I met there. Culture was good too.

I was hired to work at Tectura as an AP person and was there for a short period of time. The people seemed to be nice but some of the employees were not so compensating when learning a new software.

Tectura had a great work/life balance. The company went through many changes and eventually was purchased by UXC/Eclipse. There isn't much to say since I do not know what the operations at UXC are like.

Good company when I worked for them

When I was employed at Tectura I enjoyed the culture and atmosphere working with the consultants. My immediate manager was a Vice President and he was one of the best I've worked for. Unfortunately, they were sold to a company based in the United Kingdom and I was laid off.
