We had a lot of liberty to be creative and inventive in our solutions and designs, and were able to try out new technologies. I was interested in Angular and was able to attend a conference. The coworkers were also good and fun. There was a rough patch, which might explain the poor reviews. I liked the employees that I worked with. The pay was low. Employees would openly talk to one another about the low salaries and basically commiserate over them. "Bonuses" were cheaper gift cards or gifts, but never something monetary that was useful. The CEO, Ben Rowland, was a terrible presence in the office. He openly battled with employees, sometimes screaming at them. It felt like he was nice to people when he wanted something from them. It was quiet there. It was often silent like a graveyard. Not a lot of energy. Reviews never happened with any consistency. Learning on the job is expected and usually pretty constant. This could be a great foot in the door for someone new to the industry. The CEO, Ben is a narcissist. He can be very immature and has been known to give his employees the silent treatment for weeks when there is a disagreement. Salaries are low and there are usually no bonuses, or if there is one, it's really small. There isn't much room to grow. Tecture was a great company for me to break into the digital marketing world, and get my feet wet. It's a unique team of individuals with vast skill sets, great place to learn and grow in the digital field. Fun culture, great people, great location, and most of all awesome projects. I'd suggest giving Tecture a try! It's a fast paced environment, and you need to be ready want to learn. Collaborative and casual, creative variety, and great coworkers. Teamwork is the best part of the environment. Lots of small projects, with some large project as well. Employees are heard at Tecture, and input is not only welcomed, it's expected. Management is very approachable, and work life balance is good. Benefits are great for a small company.
