When I joined Frontline, I joined the new and young "Services" division. We would use the tools of our parent company, Frontline, to conduct conformance testing of in-development and production equipment to ensure that everything "played nicely" and work well from a consumer's view. As a "Tester", I was able to truly experience new technology in a hands-on environment while ensuring that the Consumer receives a quality product when they purchase what I tested.

While I did manage to become a "Team Lead" as a veteran of the company, there was never any true change in position or status. The longer you're with the company, the more you are expected to do with no more compensation than a hollow "Thank you" from the inadequate President.

Coworkers are pretty good to work with. Pay was decent. Free snack room. Ability to test new mobile devices. Decent perks like use of company cars every once in a while. Flexible hours.

Unorganized management usually had no clue about what we should have been doing. Quick to fire or lay off employees.
