This place was always a mess, no regard for Covid what so ever, there’s people who wear no mask or a mesh mask. There is no training whatsoever and so much favoritism. Ask the stylist and they’ll also say the way this place is ran is a mess.

Don’t do it if you love to have a social life
|
The pay was good and clients were cool I loved most of my coworkers but management was unbearable I did not have a life working at this place they always made me feel like my child was supposed to come second . They always dangled promotions in our face and then would say no all they care about is selling products if you don’t sell they don’t care about you they seem nice but are very two faced . We went through so much mental abuse here all my co workers felt the same way I’ve never cried at a job until working here. Money wasn’t even worth it ! Shifts were crazy long and if you ever called it or showed up even a min late you got an hour long speech and they always told us we were replaceable instead of encouragement

The place had bad energy. Very high turn over rate. This place stressed me out with all of the drama that went on with the CEO and his employees. The CEO didn't seem to care about his employees, just himself, and how much money he could make for himself. This place had no room for you to grow in the business, very little promotion opportunity. He set core values which he didn't follow himself or anyone else. I don't recommend this work environment to anyone else.

My dream company

For a long time I told my husband what I didn’t like about my previous employer. I told him that I’d like to have my own franchise one day and run it the way I thought it should be run....And then I found The Gents Place.
Staff and guests are treated fairly, we have monthly trainings to ensure service standards, there are monthly check ins (one on one’s) with management to gauge your personal progression and evaluate if raises are in order, there are weekly professional development trainings, and weekly calls with the CEO so everyone can ask questions and be on the same page throughout the entire company.
I still want to own my own franchise some day. But now I know the company I want to own. We give back to the community and help homeless veterans. We aim to make a positive impact on everyone we come in contact with. We’re not in the business of hair or grooming.. we’re in the business of selling emotions. We hope every person who enters our doors leaves feeling positive, confident, and empowered to change the world for the better because; when you look and feel your best, you do your best.
